From a young age, I was drawn to life’s deepest questions why I existed, where I came from, and what awaited me beyond this life. For many years, I assumed science alone would provide the answers. But everything changed when God found me, opened my eyes, and revealed Himself to me. Before entering full-time ministry, I spent twenty-five years in the IT management consulting field. Those years shaped me to think strategically and systemically, learning how to take an idea from its earliest stages all the way to implementation. That experience also helped me grow more comfortable and engaging in conversations about my faith, preparing me in unexpected ways for the ministry God would later call me into. After I completed seminary, I did not immediately enter pastoral ministry. Instead, God shaped and equipped me through a variety of roles in churches, seminaries, Christian organizations, and my own personal ministry.  
Pastor Sam enjoys a rich blend of interests that keep him grounded, curious, and connected to others. He loves engaging in fellowship, Bible study, and exploring theology in everyday life. He values quality time with family and friends, mentoring others, and building deep, life‑giving relationships. His passion for travel and culture broadens his ministry perspective, while sports like badminton, biking, and walking help him maintain balance and wellness. He also delights in reading science articles and journals, exploring scientific ideas, and playing strategic games that spark creativity and problem‑solving. For relaxation, he enjoys science and mystery films that inspire curiosity and thoughtful reflection.

從小開始，我就被生命中的問題所吸引: 我為何存在、我從哪裡來、以及生命結束後將往何處去。多年來，我以為科學能回答這一切。然而，當神親自尋找我、開啟我的眼睛並向我啟示祂自己時，一切都改變了。在進入全職事奉之前，我在資訊科技管理顧問領域工作了二十五年。這些年的經驗培養了我策略性與系統性的思維，使我學會如何將一個想法從萌芽帶到落實。這段職涯也幫助我在分享信仰時變得更自然、為神後來呼召我進入的事奉道路做了意想不到的預備。完成了神學裝備後，我並沒有立即去牧會。相反地，神透過在教會、神學院、基督教機構以及個人事工中的不同角色塑造我、裝備我。 
在日常生活中，我喜愛團契，查經、並在日常生活中探索神學；珍惜與家人朋友相處的時光，也熱衷於陪伴與栽培他人，建立深遠的關係。我對旅遊與文化的熱愛拓展我的事奉視野，而羽毛球、騎單車與散步則幫助我維持健康與生活平衡。我也喜歡閱讀科學文章、探索科學議題，以及透過策略性遊戲激發創意與解難能力。休閒時，我特別享受能激發思考的科幻與懸疑電影。
